During Quality Week, Cateringpor marked the date internally with a series of actions that encouraged the participation of colleagues and an open discussion on this year’s theme, “Quality Awareness: Doing the Right Thing”. On World Quality Day, we did the right thing by sharing the cake that our pastry colleagues made to mark the date!

Quality Awareness

Quality Week was celebrated worldwide from November 7 to 11, 2022, under the theme: “Quality Awareness: Doing the right thing.” As a rule, it is a week marked by awareness campaigns, promotion and demonstration of the importance and advantages of Quality for the competitiveness of companies. The need for the creation of World Quality Day came from the United Nations (UN) which established in 1990 that the second Thursday of November would be the World Day to mark and celebrate Quality. In 2022, World Quality Day was held on November 10.

Cateringpor joined companies around the world marking the anniversary by promoting a series of initiatives that took place during the week, with the aim of alerting employees to the importance of Quality in the company’s operations and to the prosperity of each individual within the company, too. Cateringpor assumes Quality as an intrinsic value to its business. When implemented, this value translates into delivering the excellent service and products that customers demand.

As a company whose mission is to deliver the best quality products to its customers, everyone in the team is aware that they contribute to creating value. Operating in a sector as demanding as civil aviation, the company considered it important to promote actions to raise awareness of Quality and to promote discussion of this year’s theme: “Doing the right thing”.
